Wavemaps and water texturing
Hey, everyone.
I've been working on a cartoony 'Zelda Wind Waker' styled game and need my water to look cartoony and not too realistic. I know Unity uses multiple layers of a single texture for the water (the wavemap I assume) moving in different directions in order to give a ripple-like effect. My question is, how can I import a texture like below and not just have it come out looking like the screenshot below. Do I have to convert the texture to some special thing for a wavemap...? Does the water shader even support what I want? If not, any tips on how I achieve the desired result?
