Compiler error issue(not what you think!)
I am having a problem with compiler errors. Generally, when it says "All compiler errors have to be fixed before you can enter playmode!", I click on the error and it takes me to the spot in my code and I fix it. But this time, it says "All compiler errors have to be fixed before you can enter playmode!" and that's what the error message says too. Here is the exact error message:
"All compiler errors have to be fixed before you can enter playmode! UnityEditor.SceneView:ShowCompileErrorNotification()"
Help is much appreciated.
You haven't built your exe into your assets folder have you? That will cause internal compiler errors.
Just for the record - this annoying problems is very often, simply caused by a stupid syntax error somewhere (OTHER THAN the indicated line)
sometimes it relates to "hanging" braces. you know, you accidentally forgot a brace 100 lines above and it's a shambles because of that.
you can often find these problems by wholesale $$anonymous$$ETING routines one after another until it goes ok. hope it helps.
Now look CLUN$$anonymous$$ is on this question -- nobody offend him, delete anything, or make any comments he doesn't like ;-) heh ;-)

If you're sure there are no errors in your scripts, delete your compiled assets from your project folder. Close Unity and go into the directory and delete the Library and obj folders, then open Unity back up and everything will reimport and recompile.
(DON'T delete project settings or assets!)
