How to Open Unity 4 projects to U5?
Okay so Its been driving me crazy. I'm a Unity noob, and i started using Unity 4 I made over 4 to 5 projects that I use for learning. Now I'm trying to find a way to open all those projects in Unity 5. Is there a way or do I have to remake everything :( ?
Back them up first.
Then just point to the main project folder, the one with Assets folder in it and go.
By backup up I mean making a copy of the whole project folder. This is so you still have one copy which remains un-converted in case you wish to go back to your earlier build.

Back up your project as mentioned by meat5000 Then when you open Unity 5 in the top right you will see "Open Other" Select that option then point it to your project folder (the root folder of your project) and click SELECT FOLDER You'll then be told it was opened with an older version of Unity and needs to update. Click Upgrade.
