Rigged Model Distorted when Imported to Unity
I created and rigged a model for my game using blender, and in blender it seems to work fine. When I import it to Unity, however, the legs become twisted and distorted. Here are pictures: http://imgur.com/a/6qqxF
I noticed that when I change the bone roll on the legs in blender it changes the distortion, but I cannot find a way to fix it. In the pictures I was selecting the bones in blender and hitting ctrl+n (recalculate roll), and then z-axis. With x and y axis the distortion seems to get worse. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have put a lot of work into this model/rig and I would like to start animating it and then get it into the game.
In the Skinned$$anonymous$$eshRender component, does it help to change Quality to 4 bones?
I tried that. I ended up getting around it by changing the rig from humanoid to generic. I'm sure there's a downside to that but I haven't encountered it yet.
