Unity 4 AnimationController accessibility
Hi I am part of the Unity 4 preorder beta and I am testing some old solutions in Unity 4.0. Now I have some Issues with the old Asset Streaming Example/Tutorial.
In the Example the Meshes are ingame-generated and because of that you have to set the AnimationContoller ingame as well. But to do that you need the class "AnimationController" wich is part of UnityEditorInternal and only accessible from Unity Editor Runtime.
Is there another way around it or do they still change things so that I can access it from UnityEngine too?
Since the beta for version 4.0 is not yet public, you will have hard time finding answers here.
I'm not sure that other beta user are allowed to even write answer. Generally, beta version implies a non-disclosable agreement. Therefore discussing it in public-accessible websites may be forbidden.
Check whether there is such an agreement before asking here.
There is no explicit NDA. The only thing that I found regarding that, is in the FAQ.
"How do I get support? If you fail to find the answer in this FAQ or the product documentation that was installed onto your machine, there are several other options to get support. The most direct way to get support in Unity is to visit the Unity Community web site: http://unity3d.com/support/community. Here you will find links to the Forum and to Unity Answers where you can find concrete Unity questions and answers."
I think the private beta has been lifted now that the software is available to anyone with a preorder. Still how many of us are using it in anger probably remains limited as, AFAI$$anonymous$$ there is no release date yet.
