Possible to use different rig on layer mask?
I have walk/run animations I want to use but I want to use upper body animations from a different set of models. I know how to make layer masks and it works when the upper body and lower body have the same rig but I can't seem to get this working, maybe it's not possible.
I'm not sure what exactly you mean. The animations and your skinned mesh need to use the same skeleton, if that's what you're asking. Or are you asking if you can "combine" two skinned meshes with different skeletons in mechanim via layer masks? In that case: I don't think so.
