Perfect Cubes vs. 1 Rectangular Prism (Performance Question)
I read somewhere in the manual that non-uniformly scaled polygons (X,Y,Z values are different) suffer in performance compared to uniformly scaled polygons (X=Y=Z).
If I wanted to create 1 long rectangular prism, would it be easier on the user's hardware to create several uniform cubes lined up to make up the prism or is there a certain point to where too many cubes should not substitute 1 prism?
Thank you.

I would have thought your best idea would be to create the mesh procedurally - it really isn't too difficult. Take a look at the Mesh documentation.
It isn't a good idea to scale non-uniform especially when the object has children.
