Same model, Lower quality? *With rig*
So I used the same model and added a rig to it, imported it into unity and the texture is terrible?
One on left has skeleton, one on right doesn't
But here is the thing, look at the poly count of both
Exactly the same... How can I get the quality back into my new texture?
Unity automaticall assigns a texture to a imported file, as well as mesh optimisation ect. I would recomend that you disable these settings in the inspector and see if this fixes the issue.
They both have the same texture file if that is what you mean
Smooth
Rigged - Not smooth
Is there a setting in there that I need to change?

Thanks for the helping me figure the issue out tanoshimi but the problem was actually solved by putting the normals onto calculate instead of import, I gave you a +1 but will mark this answer to help people in the future
If you get Unity to calculate it then Unity will make low poly objects smooth :) Thanks everyone
If you set it to calculate, the degree of "smoothness" will depend on the value of the smoothing angle slider. Set it to 0 and it won't be smooth...
Yeh that is true, I understand that the smoothing angle will deter$$anonymous$$e how smooth it is and that is why I circled it
None the less, if you import something and it isn't smooth then this is the correct way to solve it

Looks like you haven't imported the normals from your model: set Normals to Import here:
Already checked the import settings, both are exactly the same
