Shaders And Lights
I cannot figure out the right shader to use to make this work in unity free.
I have cubes setup as floors and walls.
The walls have lights that fade in and out when you touch them. I have the walls set to white. If I use a directional light, it messed up the lighting.
But if I don't use a directional light, I cannot get the blocks to be white.
What shader should I use to allow the cubes to be white and also receive light?
Thanks!

In Edit->Render Settings, there is a parameter called "ambient light", set it higher.
This doesn't work. I cannot see any of the lights now.
Thanks for an answer tho!
Oh i see. You want the mesh exactly white (255,255,255).
Lighting with default shaders cannot do what you want. Let's say the mesh is already (255,255,255). A blue light (0,0,255) will make it (255,255,510), which is still white. If you want it display as blue when the "light" is on, you should try projector
