Help, with character animation and terrain decoration.
My problem is that when i start unity 3d 3.5.2f2 or 3 i guess is that i begin to make a terrain and i need ground and some trees and cities and other stuff. Also i plan to make a game named. "Tactical Combat". I want this game to be in first person, and i need to make characters i have blender unity and all sorts but it seems nothing in the internet is helping. i want my game to be just like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZOgIBTe21qg&feature=related
The fact that your saying that nothing on the internet is helping just shows that you haven't even check the Unity website.
If that doesn't help then theres nothing that will.
Creating the game that is showed in the YouTube video you posted it no easy feat. Something on that scare requires a team of people all with dedicated tasks...
2/3 intermediate and advanced scripters as that game is online so one of your scripters needs good knowlege on network scripting
a minimum of 1 modeler, 1 animater, and skinner/texture artist, thats even before you get to sounds and special effects and shaders for special effects.
I'm not saying that you can't do this, but judgeing from your question you don't have much knowlege on any of the subjects above.
First things first, make a few small games so that you can get used to working with Unity and how to script. Work through the tutorials on the Unity website (http://unity3d.com/support/) and then come back when you understand how it all works and fits together.
