PC projects compatible with mac?
OK so I have a project which I made in PC and I want to build it for iOS. can I Copy the project folder with assets and library in it and transfer it to a mac with a memory stick and would unity open it?
When I transfer my projects from my Windows Development environment to my i$$anonymous$$ac I do notice that their is some tweaking I have to do. Some imported 3D text I brought over from Blend didn't look right. Textures on some of the letters were gone and their sizing was off. To avoid constant correction, at least for this project, I'm building it out in its entirety on the PC and then will move the final version to the $$anonymous$$ac. Hopefully this will avoid too much duplication of effort.

That should work fine, yes, just make sure you close Unity before doing it though.

I made a Mac project on a PC. The Mac build was created on the PC. Tested the app on a Mac computer of an acquaintance and it ran just like on Windows. However on the PC after creating the Mac build when I loaded the project it always had issues in Unity and I was unable to work on it further until the Mac build was removed from the Windows PC. Before it was removed the error message had something to do with the compiler is unable to be found. After the Mac build of the project was removed from the PC all error messages for the project stopped.
