Extruded 3D Text
How can I generate a mesh for let's say letter "A" based on a font asset, and then be able to extrude it? The extruding part is less significant, generating the mesh is troubling. Thanks

Create the meshes in Blender, or another 3D app that makes extruded meshes from text. If you mean doing it at runtime from a script, you'd have to parse the ttf font and generate a triangulated mesh from it, which is frankly going to be very difficult. (But Blender is open-source, so you can probably get started by looking through the code.)
