Why is the app icon on my android phone cut off?

Inside Unity in the player settings, I have resized the android icon to the descriptions (e.g. 432 x 432 px for the adaptive Android icon). However, once I download the app on my phone, the icon is enlarged and part of it is cutoff. How do I fix this issue?
just expand the image, but keep the icon the same size. for example, if you have a icon of a black ball in the middle of a white background, keep the size of the black ball the same and expand the whute back ground. This was the fix for me. the example is my case.
