What is the current state of voice recognition building for xbox one with Unity?
Hi,
I am considering adding voice recognition to my kinect game made in Unity to be ported to xbox one. I've read many posts admitting that voice recognition doesn't appear to work or is unreliable. Can anyone argue or validate these claims? I am currently unable to test this on an xbox myself. Should everything work if I build a UWP?
Thanks!
$$anonymous$$SDN has an entire library dedicated to Speech recognition, I made a project myself a while ago. https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/hh361683(v=office.14).aspx Though it was not 100% perfect, you'll have to do some machine learning if you want it perfect.

I don't know what you mean by testing on a Xbox yourself I have not worked with Unity and $$anonymous$$inect, those are two different platforms and I found one wrapper but it had nothing to do with 'Speech recognition' as long as you build out the libraries the speech recognizer will port to your system.
