Torque of Car engine
My project about car racing. When i begin at torque. I remember every cars have different torque engine. Torque engine is displaying by chart. So i want to know how to use chart to control torque engine. Please help me & thanks for your help.
For brief understanding of torque engine chart you will have to read user guide that comes with it and then you would be able to control it. However before using chart you should be knowing some basic that what this torque is?
Basically torque is the twisting force produced at crankshaft of the engine. Measurement unit of torque is pounds-feet where one pound-feet is equivalent the twisting force produced by applying one pound force at lever.
In other word, it is the measure of engine ability that how much force will it apply to crankshaft. You can also consult experts or any engine dealer because they will be able to illuminate it more briefly.
