How to make a pick up gun script?

I am trying to make my gun able to pick up when you look at it by pressing 'E' and I can't figure out how to make he script, I want it to change from the current gun to a different one. Also another quick question how do I play a sound when I press the left mouse button, it always gives me compiler errors.
