losing some, but not all, fbx animation
I'm importing animation from maya 2012 via fbx, and I have the most current fbx plugin. With the walk cycle I'm trying to import, it appears that one side is fine, meaning the right side, but the other side seems to be losing animation - the arm doesn't fully swing, specifically. I've tried baking in the animation myself, letting the fbx exporter do it, and just dragging in the maya file. If I open the exported animation in Maya, everything looks fine. My instinct is to go back and redo the skeleton, but before I did that, I wanted to see if anyone else has encountered anything like this. Thanks in advance!
What happens if you set the rig to humanoid and look at the character's skeleton in Unity? Also, just to check: is all your animation keyframe animation? Are you doing anything like mirroring elements (I don't know $$anonymous$$aya very well, but will it let you mirror animations from one size to the other)?
