Why Max files take much longer to import than Maya files?
Hi,
Why Max files take much longer to import than Maya files? For example when I create a cube it takes about a minute to import from max but importing from maya is about one second!
Is there any way to increase importing speed from max?

I don't know about maya, but if you save your max files into the asset folder (as .max), Unity is going to launch an instance of max in the background, use its fbx exporter and close it. That's why it's so long, max is long to start.
You should save your max files outside of /Asset, and export fbx manually.
