Exporting terrain for others to use?
Well, I'm simply tryingto send my whole unity project to another unity user. And he gets the textures, the models and all. Except for the terrain. Any pointers on what to export without the filesize getting too big? Thanks.
Wouldn't it just work for you to just select the $$anonymous$$odels, the materials, textures,.... When you export it as a unitypackage i don't even think you will have problem with prefabs as i think it will automaticaly select the assets which are part of the prefab. You just have to look through your project to see what the other developer needs. Sry if i didn't understand your question.
If you want to export the entire project as a UnityPackage click Export Assets... under the Assets $$anonymous$$enu. If you then press all all assets will get exported as a unitypackage. If you want to exclude some assets just deselect them. If you're done just send the unitypackage file to the other unity user. He then just has to Import this package.

Taking the whole project folder and sending it to the other user should work well. Did you send the whole folder as a zip or something? Or did you export your assets (as unitypackage)? In this case, you have to take care to include everything which is used in your scene/project.
