Getting Mesh from Terrain
Is there anyway to get a Mesh
from a Terrain
at runtime?
Have a look at the Unity Script Reference. You should find your answer there ;)
Apparently I must totally not be seeing something. I scanned the Terrain
documentation endlessly. Could you point it out for me?

Not really: 1) there's not just one mesh generated, but many meshes, and 2) the meshes aren't accessible. Although you could generate your own meshes from the terrain heightmap data.
You could use this as a starting point, though it will be required to generate multiple meshes and not just one (except for very low-res terrains).
