terrain falls not the FP controller.
i'm trying to create a game. nut each time i press the start button. the "terrain" is falling not the First Person Controller.(unless the FP controller is floating upwards which seems unlikely). i haven't change any setting yet, just following some tutorial on adding textures and other stuff....so i can't add more details on what i did. anybody encountered the same prob? any solutions?
unity ver. 4.1.2.0
If the terrain is really falling (you can tell by selected the terrain in the inspector while the game is running and watching the 'Y' position), then it is likely you added a rigidbody to the terrain. In general you keep rigidbodies from falling by either turning off gravity or setting the Is$$anonymous$$inematic flag in the Rigidbody. You may want to just remove the Rigidbody.

Make sure that there is no Character Controller or Rigidbody attached to the terrain, Or perhaps you have build the scene upsidedown? (Lol)
pardon me sir, but where would i look to see if there are Character Controller or Rigidbody attached to the terrain?...and build the scene upsidedown?? LOL XDD
It may have a white background with black text in case you couldn't find it.
