Unity 4 License, same machine different OS
Hi!
Just a quick question not mentioned anywhere (what I could find):
One license is for one person (seat), which can be activated on two machines. Does this imply that I can activate it "three" times, one time on my macbook for OS X, one time on the SAME machine for Windows 8.1, and a third time on a DIFFERENT machine? That is: Does a different OS on the same computer implicitly mean "different machines"? Or do they use the MAC-adress or whatever to determine which hardware the license is activated on?
And a followup question just for curiosity: Can I activate indefinite installs (in different folder paths) multiple times on the same OS on the same machine?
Reason is that I use the macbook most of the time, but if for some reason it is not available, I want to be able to use my computer at work (without retrieving the macbook and "return" the license etc.).
I have to use 2 licenses on my $$anonymous$$ac for Windows and OSX, but I'm running a V$$anonymous$$ so that might make a difference of course.
Okey, thanks for the input! We can of course just try it out (since one can easily return the license in Unity 4), but can't test this atm!

We treat a machine as a hardware+OS combination. You can activate on your MacBook (one activation), on your Bootcamped Win8.1 (second activation). If you try to activate on a different machine you'll be told that you've used up your activation count.
