Why is my Point Light only shining in one direction?
Currently running my build in Android, I tested out Deferred vs Forward rendering, tried different shaders, moved the light around, but the point light is only shining in one direction...
Have you accidentally changed its "Type" to Spotlight, the name will still be "Point" in the Hierarchy window if you have. Look at its "Type" setting when selected in the Inspector window.
Well, my answer deleted itself. So, either a. Exit project, open another, then go back, b. Do the same with a scene, c. Try a spotlight, and modify it, d. Delete and retry :)
If you delete the light and create a new Point light do you still get this issue?
@Pflobus Your answer did not delete itself, @huynhke has posted the same question twice. I tried to send one back to moderation but found that I don't yet have the necessary privilege level to do so.
Your answer is here (post it here as well, then everything is all in one place, thanks) :

oh what, thanks for letting me know i posted twice. I thought my first post didn't go through because it never showed that it loaded for me >_>.
Yes, deleting the light and recreating will have the same issue. Also tried this in another project.

Got it! Changed my bumped-spec shader into the mobile bumped-spec shader and it worked. Guess I shouldn't have tried using a non mobile shader while working in android?
