2D Pixel Art in Unity - Best Solutions?
Hi guys!
I'm new to Unity, and am starting out a prototype in 2D pixel art. Could anyone send a few ideas, pointers, suggestions, my way? I appreciate it very much!
Thanks!! Thomas

First of all, Unity is a 3D-based game engine, so you will have to go to extra efforts to produce 2D. Other programs, such as Flash (if you can afford it), would be a much better choice than Unity.
However, if you do decide to use Unity, here is another thread related to 2D in Unity.
In this thread, it is stated that Unity might have native 2D support in the near future. So if you can wait a bit, Unity might be the way to go.
