How to configure an audio listener
I am making a FPS game, and i am pretty new to Unity in some things, such as audio. I've noticed that the FPS Character (Unity's standard characters) have an audio listener obviously, and that i can configure it to hear sounds differently.
I watched videos,searched on the internet, and still, i didn't understand how to configure the audio listener to do the following:
I have a fountain a corner or two far from the player, and i put a water sound fx on it. The problem is that the sound can be hear very clear and loud even far away from the fountain. I assume that you guys know where this is going right? Can someone pls explain me what do i need to do and how so the sound can only be heard clearly and loud when the player is close to the fountain, and don't hear when he is far?
