Textures Aren't Working Right
Okay, I'm trying to make a game and created a texture for a model in unity, but when I imported the texture and added it to a material, the whole texture was off. This is my first time trying to make a game, so of course, I have hardly any idea what I'm doing...
Does anyone have any idea where I screwed up?
hi, did you map it properly in blender? Simply Does It Look Correctly In Blender?
Firstly , Thats a HEEEC$$anonymous$$ lotta polygons you have there. And If You Put This On Texture $$anonymous$$ode :
Does it look correct?
Yeah, I know it is, oof.. and I can't see that.. when I go to texture mode, it looks like this!
You might have more than one UV set. Try changing the UV Set in the Inspector to UV1, etc. Or check in Blender (If that's what you are using), if you have more than 1 UV set for the geometry.
sorry for the late response , it was getting very late here. No, what i meant by texture view, was viewing the whole model textured. You need to click on the button i told you about, in that window where you see the whole model. All we wanna know is, if the map sits correctly on the 3d model in blender.

Did you export the model again once creating the UV map to ensure the model is using that uv map for the texture?

So that's where I screwed up... yeah, I guess I did everything right (I think) but never exported the model again after finishing the uv map. I just tried re exporting it and it fit on the model correctly. Thank you guys so much for the help.
