Using system.xml.linq with Unity iOS
Hey everyone :)
I'm wondering if there is any way to use the system.xml.linq namespace with monotouch for iOS? (So I get access to the XDocument class functionality). When I include the assembly in MonoDevelop and add the namespace to the source code and compile I get no errors whatsoever, but as soon as I get out into the Unity editor the console displays this error:
error CS0234 : The type or namespace name 'Linq' Does not exist in the namespace 'System.Xml'. Are you missing an assembly reference.
Any ideas about why this happens? And if there is any possible way to use the system.xm.linq library with Unity.
For anyone curious, these are the details of my system and unity:
Mac OS X 10.7.4
Unity 3.5.6f4
MonoDevelop-Unity 2.8.2
Thank you for your time :)
