Networking with Linux

Question

Hello everyone :) I was planning to rent out a VPS (Linux) server and I was wondering: are players that are playing on windows computers able to connect to players playing on Linux computers online via networking? (I am planning to set up a server that runs on linux) Thanks!

In principle there is no reason why your networking cannot connect Windows and Linux players.
