getting dx9 error. happened overnight

using a p4 with xp to play contract wars. worked yesterday. none of the 3 sites I use (facebook, kongregate. VK) work today. Keeps telling it needs dx9 drivers. I reinstalled that version even though it's a step backward and the problem still exists.

You upgraded to 4.3 and now your intel gfx chip is no longer supported?

Are you even talking about Unity development or are you talking about a game that runs in Unity Webplayer?

No, The only thing I did between yesterday and today was use a tcp optimizer and I have since restored the previous settings, just in case that was the issue. The program, which uses Unity, just stopped working. The site goes thru the typical startup, then, before it gets to my profile page, it gives this error:

"Unity web player requires dxp level graphics card. $$anonymous$$ake sure you have graphics card drivers installed."

FYI forgot to mention I'm using Chrome.

$$anonymous$$y only suggestion is to take this to the forums. UA is really for game dev scripting questions. On the forums you could probably locate the game creators and notify them. This is likely caused by recent changes to the Unity engine.
