HOW Unity store game saves? Are mySQL a valid option to store such data? How about javascript framework or php?

I wonder if mySQL is a valid option for storing game saves and retrieving data? I want to develope web based game. Is ajax or xhttpr works with unity?

Can PHP ever play any role in the Unity developed game?

Can AngularJS and such javascript framework be part of the Unity developed game?

Pardon me if the question is noobish as I am rather brand new to unity development but have relevant good knowledge on web development.

The quick answer is yes, all of the above can be used with Unity
