How to make smoke effect?
I have a smoke effect using legacy particle emitters, renderer, and animator, but when the player approaches the smoke it disappears. I want a smoke that covers a monster and stays in view so that player cannot see monster clearly. Can anyone tell me how to make my smoke not disappear with proximity or tell me how I can make a smoke effect?

Can you post screenshots to illustrate? Do you mean that the particles are not billboarding (when you move they don't rotate to face the camera)? Or are your Ellipsoid values greater than 1 so the particles are further away than the player? Really hard to help without some screenshots (show far away then close).
