Unity 5 Tessellation shaders vs. Standard
Dear all,
I am learning/exploring Unity5 and its features. I see that the standard setup already contains Tessellation shaders. It does look really interesting, but it also seems quite simple compared to the Standard shader sets. I have read the : http://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/SL-SurfaceShaderTessellation.html documentation.
I would like to use tessellation to enhance my model with the detail read from a displacement map when I am getting closer to it, but I dont want to loose the options given by the Standard shader.
Is there another solution than diving deeply into shader programming?
