why is unity slow because of one 3d model?

one of my 3d models (which is hogwarts) was fine before unity would work with it and everything was normal now if i put that model in my project then that scene becomes so slow that it takes ages for the first person to look up and some of the materials aren showing up why? this never happened before is their to many projects in my computer please help Aman

Is your console window going crazy, spam$$anonymous$$g messages while the model is in the scene?

Because Debug.Log can slow things down quite considerably when used heavily.

Above the gameplay windows is a button called 'stats.' Click that to see the current window polycount, called "Tris."
