Gizmo-like GUi text?
How do I keep a GUI-text situated over a certain gameobject, like a gizmo? This isn't for debug, so I need it to work in the build as well. All I can think of is somehow trasferring a point in the world to pixel-coordinates on the screen, but that seems unlikely. Help, please.

You can use ObjectLabel.js, a script from @Eric5h5. Attached to a GUIText, it makes the text follow the target. Click here to get this script and all the explanation.

For this type of thing I instantiate a 3D Text and add a custom billboarding component to it. works well enough for me- although with the default shader the text will hide behind objects and whatnot (you can fix that with a shader that's up on the unify wiki)
