Where Is Terrain Toolkit
hey guys,i have try to find this Terrain Toolkit packages everywhere by using google, but it wont help, does anyone want to give me that Terrain toolkit download link because i really want that Packages. Thankyou
Alucardj- Is my answer still acceptable? I cannot tell if what you are trying to say is that it needs to be downloaded from there or that it has all ready been implemented into Unity and can be reached from the Asset Store ($$anonymous$$y answer). Is the latter correct?
Terrain Toolkit : Created for the 2009 Unity Summer of Code, the Terrain Toolkit is an integrated solution for terrain generation in the Unity game engine. : http://www.sixtimesnothing.com/terraintoolkit/
If the OP does mean Terrain Toolkit then the link is as above, it cannot be found in the asset store (although the road and path tool and river tool can?!). If the OP means Terrain Assets, then yes these can be found in the asset store as per your answer.
I'm almost certain the terrain toolkit was all ready implemented into Unity

Six Times Nothing now hosts a link to the Terrain Toolkit.
There seems to be some confusion about what it actually is. It is not a new terrain engine or a package of assets. Instead, it is a component that can be placed on the terrain in your scene to allow you to generate realistic-looking landscapes.

To use terrain toolkit with Unity 5.5+, use the updated version on GitHub; https://github.com/unitycoder/unityterraintoolkit

Unity has Terrain functionality built into it. If you go to the top menu, next to 'Component' you will find 'Terrain'.
If you are looking for the Terrain Assets, then you can find them by going to Window > Asset Store (Or by pressing Command + 9 if you are on a Mac). Then, in the search bar, type in Terrain Assets. Select the one by Unity Technologies, download, and install.
so the name of terrain asset is chaged to terrain assets?
I have a different problem. The Terrain $$anonymous$$enu next to Component is gone: http://answers.unity3d.com/questions/458172/terrain-menu-is-gone-in-the-menubar.html
The Terrain Toolkit is a .unitypackage that allows the user to generate realistic landscapes with erosion and automatic texture assignment. It is separate from the "Terrain Assets" package. It works as an extension of the existing terrain engine.
