Question by Necrogizer · Feb 05, 2017 at 10:08 PM · c#editorinspectoreditor-scriptinggizmos

Gizmos.DrawLine is dissapearing after returning to editor after Playing the scene

I have a C# Script that draws lines in order to visualize the connections between some objects.

The problem is that when playing the scene and after returning back to the Editor, the custom Gizmos are gone...

Also, the boolean values on the inspector are also reseting.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Hmm... I believe that this is happening because the objects that the script that draws the gizmos uses are also getting reseted on play. Any sugestions on how to serialize them? I searched a little bit but so far nothing worked...

I have a C# Script that draws lines

Well, how and where do you draw those lines? Which callbacks do you use? What kind of script is it? Those screenshots are great to understand the symptomes you talk about, but we can't answer your question without knowing what you actually do.
