Spotlight illuminating half model
Hi!
I have a scene with different types of trees. Ones are my own imported trees and others are from the tree creator.
I have a spotlight with a cookie illuminating the trees. The thing is that the trees from the tree creator are ok illuminated (only in the area that the spotlight is pointing and with the holes from the cookie texture). But my own imported trees only have two states: illuminated or not illuminated. And with that I mean that they are not half illuminated by the spotlight with the cookie. I can not see the holes from the cookie on the leaves...
I'm kind of newbie and would appreciate your help if someone can explain me why is this happening...
Thank you very much

Hi! I solved my problem by going to Quality Settings and increasing the Pixel Light count. As it is said in here: http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/44033-Point-Light-Problem
I had it set to 2 and I put it to 10. Now my plants are illuminated correctly. :)
Hope that helps you

hi I'm having related issues too, but the inverse someway... when i put the three from the free tree package into the scene (night ambient) it is all lightened or not lightened at all.... other model like rock , grass etc... are correctly illuminated only where light hits (a spotlight)... what make trees different? want to add that i have tried various tree AO settings or self illumination but with that i can only achieve all trees black even with the light... any suggestion?
