How to make great outdoor scenes.
I saw the example of terrains http://unity3d.com/unity/quality/terrains I would like to know some tips and tricks, maybe a tutorial on how to achieve that really great looking stuff. This is the best i've been able to get: http://tinypic.com/r/2yv9dti/6

I've found the Hard Surface Shaders
and the Wet Surface Shaders look really great
Also, you might want to look at ats Snow Suite
All of these are free, and it's easy to pick apart the code
The only other thing I've seen is that people just make their own custom terrain mesh in a 3rd party modelling program and program the physics on it themselves. Of course, I could be wrong.
