Terrain isn`t working PLEASE help
Hi im new to unity and i have a problem. i click on terrain>> create terrain and then i double click it in my hiearchy, but nothing shows up on my scene except a box with red blue and green arrows. PLEASE HELP!!!

The starting terrain is just a giant, flat grey plane, so often looks like all you did was change the background color. Click it once and use the paint height from the Inspector. Add a directional light to the scene. You should start seeing some hills and things.
A trick is to create a cube, type in position coordinates (150, 0.5, 150) and then double click to jump to it. A cube is 1 meter tall, so it gives you a frame of reference -- like having a person standing next to a dinosaur skeleton.
The box with colored arrows is the standard "movement arrows" for the Terrain. You'll see the same ones on the cube. Most people don't want to move the Terrain (it feels weird to grab the earth and move it,) but technically, Terrain is just another object and can be moved like anything else.

I know that the terrain is just a grey flat plane, but what im saying is that when i click on terrain, the grey plane doesnt show up on my scene
