Want to import Prefabs but the mesh is missing?
I'm learning how to use Unity through working on a game that this book is guiding me how to make. All of the assets and materials are given to me and I want to import the prefabs that were created but the files look like this.
when I import the asset into the Prefab folder it shows up as the blue cube and when placed in the scene it's invisible. I'm not sure why that's happening. I'm a total beginner so I don't know where to go from here.

Similar thing happened to me but with a collaboration download.
My prefabs were based on a .blend file (a file created by the Blender 3D modelling application). Don't know how they set-up those files but maybe you need to import ALL assets that are included?
You can also right-click and try to re-import an asset if the link to that Prefab just failed or something.
Hope this might be of any assistance
