Spray painting
Hey guys, ive got a bit of a tricky one here. now, ive tried and tried to do this, different codes, youtubeing etc. but its not working for me. So, ive resolved to asking the community, well, heres my issue. In my video game, you control a young kid, and i need him to be able to draw on the walls, or spray paint on the walls, in real time. a good example of what i want to do is in this link, click me its a game called erie, and you have the ability to draw on walls, floors, all objects. I'd like some professional help implementing this into my game. Any code or ideas much appreciated
Cheers
Use raycast and when colliding apply a texture that looks like a spray, with transparency and all. There is similar question here

where the asker wanted to have steps on the snow. Same process, there is even a project attached to the question to demonstrate.
you dont make much sense to me, i want to be able to spray, have a particle effect whilst, you know spraying, and be able to spray onto an object from a distance
Fafase has just told you exactly how to do it.
You can either learn about decals, learn about projectors, or learn about SetPixels.
O$$anonymous$$?
If you are a new programmer you should be aware that they are hard, hard and extremely advanced respectively.
You can easily search on the three topics here, or try to find some codez or whatever for those topics here or elsewhere on the web
regarding having "a particle effect" you will have to use ......... "a particle effect". simply open the unity doc to the huge particle section
