Physics: Unexpected behaviour
Hi everybody!
I have a problem related with Physics. I have a ball in the scene and I checked that different shots from the same position and adding the same force and the same direction the results are randomly different. Sometimes the ball enter on the ring (is a basketball game) and sometimes not.
It is possible that Physics act different with the same parameters?
Thanks for all!

unless you make the force varies with let's say, random.range or you intentionally make your object be affected by wind, you should get the same results always. Are you sure the position, direction and force are equal?
I concur with this answer. From my testing, as long as you change nothing, the result of the physics simulation is always 100% predictable.
Something must be changing from play to play.
it's also possible that you're using a very small object (the ring) to interact with an object that is moving very fast (the ball) which sometimes may cause unexpectable behaviour, as with objects on moving platforms. Try testing with a bigger ring to confirm, if it gets reliable results, I'll give you some pointers to fix it.
