AnimationClip must be marked as Legacy
Hi everybody,
I'm working on some animations, and I seem to have run into a problem. I am trying to insert a "death" animation, but I get this error.
"The AnimationClip 'death' used by the Animation component 'Enemy' must be marked as Legacy."
I do not know how to make a single animation "Legacy." I've marked characters as "humanoid" or "legacy", but never animation clips.
Does anyone know how to solve this, or has anyone seen this before?
Thanks

I have found that if you duplicate an animationClip, the source must be set to ModelImporterAnimationType.Legacy. It can be done manually in the Rig tab->Animation Type of the source

Open the .anim file with a text editor and set m_AnimationType: to 1
