Tilt Brush clone with Kinect, HMZ-T1 and Unity
I have a Kinect 360, a HMZ-T1(VR without headtracking and small fov) on Windows 10. My idea is to create a unity app that records my movements and lets me shape a virtual ball with my hands. I put the camera of unity on my virtual head to see the change in the virtual ball. A little bit like Tilt Brush but with a model that I deform instead of painting strokes into the sky. I found an extension on the asset store to use the kinect with unity. The demos work. One sample connects colliders to limbs. Then I found a mesh deform sample - based on mouse pointers.
Then I wondered:
Am I reinventing the wheel?
Can I find a full sample that does what I want?
