Simulate visuals for an impact on a shield
Hey there!
I'm here to ask what's the best way to represent a impact on a shield. I'm using the "Unity 3.3 and iOS" Shadder in the following link to create the force fields:
And the expected outcome would preferably be something similar to this:
So, any suggestion (the focus here is in visual effects, not in physics)?

Anyway, the presence of a movie would suggest that I'm asking the best way to mimic that visual effect, not physics interaction...

Well, after some thinking I got one idea: to use a particle system to mimic the shield impact and make the shield totally transparent... Here's the outcome:
