Will Unity Pro cause problems?
Hi, I was thinking about getting Unity Pro. My question however is if a game that I have been working on for 7 months now will get problems when I switch to pro. Will I still be able to work on the project and will new features that wasn't available before mess up my game? Stuff like shadows from spotlights etc? If so will I be able to turn all these things off?
I was also wondering if I will be able to disable the default splash screen? I have my own splash screen that says that the game is powered by unity but it fits the game more.
Sorry if my english/grammar is a little of, cheers from Sweden.
You do realise that you get shadows from spotlights with a Personal licence too?
Oh, well I have not been able to see the shadows but maybe I'm doing it wrong? How do I view shadows from spotlights

Always back up your project before any considerations like this, just good policy. That said you shouldn't suffer form anything changing the license with an existing game. If you update the version of unity as with any software program you run the risk of issues.
The splash can be replaced/removed with a plus or greater license and coming soon animated splash screens. You can see what each license gives you by reading the details on the store page here.
So it should not cause HUGE problems? Cuse I have options tab and all that jazz, meaning that you can change music and master volume as well as resolution, quality, mouse sensitivity, SSAO etc... All this is saved and loaded using binary formatters. Could this be a problem? I'm sorry for all the questions but I just don't feel the need to re-code tons of stuff when upgrading :)
