FPS hands only you can see
I am trying to make a first person shooter game. I noticed in most online FPS games, the hands that you see are different to the hands that other people see. For example: The gun in fps's look like it's held up to your face, but when someone else looks at you, it looks like the gun is at his hips. Is they're any way of doing this?
yea sure, have a different model displayed for enemy soldiers than is used for the player.
America's Army for example, both sides see themselves as american soldiers and the enemy as insurgents.
Thats because all players are set up to have all enemies be models with insurgent textures and allies with Army textures.
its the same thing except with models.
If object is not self. display ( mesh with low hands) if object is self display (mesh with hands up high)
