Can I use the free version and purchase additional tools that make up for the Pro version?
If this question was already asked, My apologies. I am new to gaming with Unity. The free version only allows me to develop a stand alone game in either Windows, Linux, and Mac correct? I will have to purchase the Android regular or Pro in order to develop for Android. Can I use the Free Version of Unity with Android Pro? So if I wanted to develop a game with AI path-finding I will need to spend $1500 or do they have other tools in the store that will allow me to use AI path-finding. Can I purchase cheaper tools in the store that do the same as the tools in the PRO version. Can I purchase tools separately.... on a as needed bases?

I'm not up on the diff between Android and Android Pro, but I don't think you'll get any 'core' functions like that. Stuff that's in the Assets Store that requires Pro probably does so because it relies on Pro-only features, like the ability to load/run DLL's or use RenderTextures, stuff like that. For path finding in particular, people got along without Unity's path stuff until a few months ago. The stuff in the Asset Store and some stuff in the script wiki etc. work ok and don't require Pro.
Yeah they should say if they require Pro. If they don't say it, it should support free and pro. Some packages have both free and pro versions (although they may cost, like $5 plugin for 'free Unity' and $20 for 'pro Unity'

The tools in Unity store will state if it requires PRO right? I wish they had a different payment option.
