Unexplained crashes only in standalone build
Hi,
I've been experiencing freezes on standalone builds of our game and am at a loss as to what can be the cause. At what seems to be random intervals, the game simply freezes, even Alt-F4 does not work, but music keeps on playing.
If I run the game in the editor, it runs just fine. A made a development build, it has a lot of slow down (likely due to profiler being attached?), but no crashes. The development build does seem to semi-freeze, but this happens really often - every minute or more, where a standalone build will run for 10 minutes or so before locking up.
Considering that the game runs fine in the editor, it does not seem likely that it is an error in one of our scripts. The development build's slowdowns also seem to be due to profiling/overhead, as nothing shows up in the profiler itself.
The only external library we are using is Spritemanager. I've checked the output log file but there is nothing strange there. What else can I check? Am I missing something obvious?
