GL.End requires material.SetPass before! Still with 5.6.0f3. Happens with a default scene.
I can't use VR because of this error.
The issue tracker says it has been fixed, but I still have the issue. This wasn't an issue in any 5.5 build for me, I'm not sure what can be causing it. I don't get the error when I spawn as a non-VR player.
This also happens with a default scene, just a directional light and the VR camera rig prefab.
Anyone share this issue or know how to solve it. I checked camera clear flags according to forum posts before the bug was "fixed".
Thanks!
UPDATE
I tried a whole new project, not just a scene, and it worked. I only added SteamVR. Will comment further when I get my current project to work in case anyone else has this issue.

Found it!
It was the SVG Importer plugin. Deleted it, no error!
Still can't see my custom controller model, but I'm thinking that's a different problem.
I tried removing SVG, but it did not help for me. Did you do anything else?
[Edit] Removing SVG worked, I just needed to get it to compile nicely and the restart Unity.
Thanks!

For those not using VR, this bug can be reproduced with the following setup: First camera clears to Skybox and has a depth of 0. Second camera clears to Depth Only and has any depth lower than the first camera's.
With that setup, any modification to either camera will cause the console to spit that error message. Increasing the Depth of the second camera to any value greater than the first resolves it. Setting both cameras to clear to Skybox also resolves it.
I can't reproduce this. Are you sure you don't have any custom assets imported into your project? $$anonymous$$eep in $$anonymous$$d that any editor script or script with ExecuteInEdit$$anonymous$$ode or a Gizmo drawing function could cause trouble. This includes classes in compiled plugins. Try again with a new, empty project. If it still happens at least post your Unity version otherwise your answer seems quite useless.
